Buckaboo Barnyard Mixes

Please note that we currently have been unable to hatch barnyard mixes. The incubators are full of our other breeds, and we’ve been using these eggs for eating! Sometimes we hatch babies that fall into this category by accident…for example, if a d’uccle is born without the characteristic beard…and we will offer those birds for these prices. Feel free to check with us to see if any are available, but it is rare at this time.

If you’ve been looking through our website and really want chicks from one of our girls that isn’t normally a breeder, this is for you!  Our barnyard mixes can have genetics from speckled sussex, wyandottes, cochins, anconas, and more.  We can give you barnyard mixes from Ross or Gunther’s pens!  Ross carries genes for speckled chocolate eggs, and Gunther is a cream legbar, so he carries the genes for blue eggs. If you order pullets I will hold onto the chicks for a few weeks until we can tell which ones are female! Barnyard mix birds from our farm will help you round out your egg rainbow with lighter shades of brown, and possibly blues, greens, and olives.

Please email Tiffany at Tiffany@BuckabooFarm.com if you would like to add some of these beauties to your flock! See below for prices. Local pickup is free, and shipping for eggs is $20-$40, depending on how far you live from Southern California. We do ship live birds, but prefer to only ship within CA, or close by. The cost for shipping live birds is around $75 to cover postage and supplies.
